WOW! Seriously, people...if you are ever on Bute, you MUST visit the Ettrick Bay Tea Room. The portions are generous, the quality is great and the location is lovely! The burger I ordered came with chips and a real honest-to-god mixed leaf salad that was falling off the edge of the plate, it was so plentiful. Oh, and did I mention the amazing variety of homemade cakes they have on offer? It's a good thing we hiked in from Rothesay because I made an absolute pig of myself there! I'm half tempted just to go back to Ettrick Bay right now just to get another one of their transcendent burgers and a slice of heavenly cake!
